Based out of Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California the Flying Lizard Motorsports was founded in 2003 by team principal (and driver of the No. 44 Porsche) Seth Neiman.
With one of the more recognizable logos and team names, Flying Lizard Motorsports quickly became one of the fans favorites in the ALMS series. Since its first year of competition in 2004, the team has finished in the top three in the ALMS GT2 team and drivers' championships. And in both 2005 and 2006 the team finished third in class in the 24 hours of Le Mans with drivers, Johannes van Overbeek, Lonnie Pechnik (2005), Patrick Long (2006), and team principal, Seth Neiman.
